Recently, there has been circulating data on social media, depicted in the image below. According to this data, there are a total of 5.8 million Pi accounts, with 5.8 million pioneers. Additionally, 3.8 billion Pi have been migrated, 2.6 billion Pi are locked, and 540 million Pi are unlocked.

However, it’s important not to get overly excited about this data because there is no evidence of its origin or who released it. This information has not been verified by any official Pi news source. Despite this, such fake news is widely circulating on social media, and YouTubers are producing videos on it, while social media news handlers are spreading this misinformation.
Regarding the actual data, let us show you what the Pi Block Explorer within the Pi Browser reveals. Our team was conducting in-depth research to determine the total number of Pi transactions, as the Pi blockchain provides real-time transaction data. As we attempted to download the report, we were surprised. When we tried to download the payment file in CSV format, a message appeared stating, “You have reached the export limit of 20,000 entries. There are more records to fetch, but to prevent browser memory issues, we do not support exporting more.”

This error raises significant questions about Pi’s credibility. Can a cryptocurrency focused on Web3 and ecosystem development not provide records beyond a mere 20,000 entries? May be there is some technical bug we don’t know, but it’s truly surprising.
Subsequently, we attempted to download several other reports but were unsuccessful. We encourage you to try downloading these reports within your Pi browser as well. Perhaps you will succeed.

Note: We have always emphasized the importance of not blindly trusting social media and relying only on credible sources, if someone is saying that hong kong bank has recognised Pi coin then just ignore them. Internet is full of scams, by accessing the Pi Browser and Block Explorer, users can engage directly with transparent, verifiable data, empowering themselves to make informed decisions about Pi and its evolving ecosystem.
